TIME CHANGE: Strike checks will be distributed every Wednesday (6 a.m. to 6 p.m.) and Thursday (8 a.m. to 12:00 p.m./noon) at the hall. Only the member may pick up his or her check. If your check is not picked up by 12:00 p.m./noon on Thursday , it will be returned to the International and your check will have to be reissued.

The General Committee met with management today to discuss resolving our contractual issues. The company maintains its last proposal. The Union has notified the company that we are willing to meet at any time. Strike lines will commence at midnight tonight. No further meetings are scheduled.

At 10 a.m. the General Committee will go over the Ratification Document to be voted on by the membership.
Members must be in attendance at the explanation meeting in order to vote. A sign-in sheet will be available at 9:00 a.m. Try to show up early because we want to start the meeting promptly at 10:00 a.m.
Immediately following, a vote will be held. Polls will be open until 5 p.m.

General Committee Statement
On April 18, 2012, the Union and Company met. The Union requested a response to our proposal presented to the Company on April 11, 2012.
The Company had no response. The Union requested dates to receive the Company's response three times.
Kendra answered 3 times, there was "No need to meet!
Business Representative Pat Camardo told the Company to call us when you have a response.
As of this date, April 20, 2012 we have not heard from the Company.
